I really like this! 

"...all the delicate work that Nolofinwë associates with Fëanáro’s pain." What an impactful ending to that list! Fingolfin's sympathy for Fëanor is always so heartbreaking. 

But the way it turned to weapons... Shivers. The symbolism! 

"They are leaflike and eerie in the half-light, simmering with some strange foresight, deadly and calm."

Such strong, eerie mood conveyed by this image.
