So much tension, so much suspicion and distrust... *chef's kiss*

and I loved the reference to the Palantír!!  I know they don't actually show up in the Silm but they're so overlooked as devices, let alone even background flavor.   This was a really fantastic element <3

Ah you're an angel for taking a shot at this monster thing - and in Spanish no less! Well, you know just how much I love writing these two, so I'm really happy that even in another language you could feel the tension of it all. As for the Palantír, I completely forgot to make a note that this is, in fact, 100% stolen from Encairion LOL. It was her idea that inspired me in the first place - though I'm still glad it worked here, too! Thank you so much for this lovely comment, my friend!

I have thought that Feanor must have brought at least some Palantiri with him to Beleriand, even if never explicitly stated.  I mused once that Maedhros gave some to Fingolfin as part of the compensation (like he did with the horses) and that is how the realms of the Noldor kept in close contact.  It explains how things like the Nirnaeth was coordinated or how Turgon knew of it, things like that.  Regardless, it's a fantastic detail that I am delighted to see used!  I like that you used it almost like Galadriel's mirror, to see a possibility ahead (even if it is his own actions end up bringing them about).
