Fanwork Notes

Updated to include a link to my friend's lovely painting, 'Findaráto', which inspired my poem.

Written for the Kings & Queens challenge. Finrod isn't actually a king at this point, but there's a hint of what he will become.

I like this! These lines are evocative and I like the sense of dreaminess about it -- Finrod's still young, but you can see the king and leader he will grow into. Your poem feels like a good match for the lovely portrait

"His fëa dreams of far-off lands" was my favorite line too. :)

I love this vivid description of Finrod, especially how his smile breaks through solemn expressions and how he dreams of far lands!  Those details in particular fit him so well.
