Once Himring had been a proud fortress whose walls had withstood many an attack from the enemy, but these days only a watchtower remained.
Lonely, it stood over the waves, its walls battered relentlessly by the surf.
One day, it, too, would succumb to the wind's sharp teeth, crumbling into the sea.
But not yet. For now, its watch continued.

They built things to last when they made those fortresses! I suppose when you're fighting against Morgoth it is rather necessary to make sure that they don't crumble at the first hit.
