I'm still laughing about the starfish cameo, seeing that included made me so happy, but that's not to reduce the entire fic to that particular moment. Beautiful, sad, poignant, with your lovely prose and wonderful characterization. I do enjoy the fact that your Maglor and Daeron get along without massive animosity, in spite of Daeron's awareness of what the Fëanorians did, and that they both got at least a little relief being forced out of their solitude. 

Also very happy that the Maglor card helped you work on this! Thank you for sharing this. <3

....Daeron finds Maglor playing and singing alone by the sea. And instead of accusing/yelling/upbraiding him about the Kinslayings at Doriath and Sirion, he feeds Maglor and bandages his bleeding fingers. That they can find areas of connection is healing for them both. Unexpected and bittersweet.
