The epigraph doesn't quite fit with the rest of the story, but I've always been captivated by that little bit of poetry, and how neatly it applies to the various nameless and unknown women of Tolkien's Arda. Here's to them!

I really like how vibrant you make Irime! This line, especially, seemed to tell a lot about her:

"She wanted to weep. She wanted to laugh.

Laughter, as always, won out."

Great story! I really like the different interactions Irime has with everyone. And great title, too! It's interesting and a little bit eerie...more so once I saw the poem it was from! I really like it.
