Table of Contents

This is written for Aussie Lass, who requested the following:
Pairing: Finrod/Amarie or Feanor/Nerdanel or Legolas/Eowyn
Items/Rating = any ratings are fine. I would like something a little angsty, but not really really dark. Please do not include: no rape, no noncon, no slash, no kinky stuff.

Many thanks to Trekqueen and her fabulous comments. When I was writing this story, I was greatly inspired by the musical song: I Don't Know How to Love Him from the rock opera Jesus Christ Superstar. It just seemed to fit both and somehow it snuck in.

This is such a wonderful story I wish I could really describe how much I love it. It is firmly based in the mythology therefore it can please any of the Silm fans, and also it is an excellent take on what might have been, provided by a splendid writer. You have captured the doubts of a bride and along with them the doubts of an elleth that faced many an age and experienced almost all shades of pain. This piece is sizzling hot, without being boring and full of overused phrases. Amarie and Finrod are fully rounded characters, which is a tough task to accomplish in a relatively short tale. All in all, wonderfully done, Rhapsy :D Thank you tons for sharing!

Oh wow, thanks Binks. I never tackled those two before, so it took me a while to know them enough to start writing them. The more it progressed, the more exciting they became (that shows, I think). I am glad that you find them so fitting in existing canon ánd that they came off as well-rounded characters. I just hope that this will be one of my shorter works where readers can discover something new about a pairing.. I think that worked.. Thanks so much for the fabulous review Binks! I've been on cloud nine for some days because of it!
