This is absolutely beautiful (the fic and the art both – I love alackofghosts' art, and that plus your writing, dfghjk). The quiet heartbreak and companionship through this entire piece is really well expressed, and I love your Aerin voice (and the little bits of Morwen's characterization that got dropped in, too) :D
