O Sollemn Rose by Erurainon

Chapter 1

O solemn rose,
Of dim garden,
Dark foreboding,
Of my day,
Do not mock me,
Feeling sorrow,
Moved by envy,
On my way.
We are all,
The better parted,
On our course,
Firm and long.
Once you found me,
Weak and feeble,,
But through my heart’s ache,
I stand strong.
Withered pastures,
Through a fogged lens,
Could yet appear,
A golden haze.
Life is tender,
And too precious,
Hence to squander,
On jealous maze.
