This fic will cover the years of the Lamps and the years of the Trees. It's not a prequel to my other stories, and though there may be some references to them, many things happen quite differently here. I have followed Tolkien's canon very loosely in this one; in fact, some things will be taken from the Book of Lost Tales rather than Silmarillion. For example, Lórien isn't married here, just as in BoLT.
