Very powerful! And a young and angry Gil-galad is much more persuasive as a character than an eternally patient martyr.

I particularly like the line about falling in battle, and Celebrimbor's prescient rejoinder! Very clever :D

This probably isn't the right place to ask - but didn't you write a fic called (something like) 'Wayland'? I've been looking for that one again... Glad to find your writing here!

Thank you.  Gil-galad's a tough character to write because we know so little about him, but interesting because he must have had such a very unpromising start as king.  And I'm glad you picked up the falling in battle line.
