At the core of this is a drabble written for the tolkien100 challenge prompt: Ring Out the Bells.

I have added a half drabble as a kind of epilogue and two lines of verse as a kind of introduction.

Warnings for allusions to cultural differences between Vanyar and Noldor and tensions arising from the circumstances of Indis's marriage.
