Written for B2MeM 2014, for the prompt: flowers peeking above the snow (Seasons of Middle-earth: Spring)
Simultaneously written for the "Show, don't tell" challenge at lotr_community (on LiveJournal). The requirements were that the story should contain no dialogue and that one of the characters should point at something.
