This is a history that has never been told. Those whom it concerns most deeply are dead now, even those who chose or otherwise received the lifespans of Elves. It is a story that has been kept hidden for more than six thousand years. Now, I believe it is past time it should be revealed.

Erenion Plothole's Child has an excellent new origin story :D

We get to see glimpses of a private culture where Life finds a way in Angband no matter how tiny. Also glimpsed are what appear to be the hard & colored contacts of Eregion. 

I can see Maedhros having a successful cautious-but-verify-open-hand for Angband escapees for both compassionate & pragmatic reasons. 

Beleriand having a vastly underestimated population multiple-kindred children makes sense. Does leave one wondering what became of them in general & of the other 4 children rescued to Himring.
