Something about Aegnor and Angrod has always drawn me in- Finarfin's poor, neglected middle sons. Everyone knows Finrod, Orodreth gets his minute to shine, and Galadriel never leaves. No one speaks of Angrod and Aegnor.

I love the poem itself, the way it looks back at everything that has happened. Makes Finrod's defense of Aegnor to Andreth more meaningful.

Thanks for sharing.

Thank you :)

You are right, no one ever speaks of the two middle children, myself included. I know I have never managed to get as clear a 'feeling' of them as of some of the other Noldor so I was very pleased when I recieved this challange. It is why I was doing the challanges a few years back, they made me look at and write things that was not neccessarily where my greatest comfort in writing were lying.
