Nellas can be surprisingly brave when it comes to speaking up of the principles and people she loves - one of the reasons I adore her so much is that she is doing that for Túrin in canon, and out in the forest where she is more comfortable, I don't picture her daunted by much anything. :)

Interesting point about Lúthien's magic as well! It's not a connection I'd made, since Lúthien has all those spring-bringing attributes (which with her as part-Maia I tend to take at face value more than artistic license by some smitten minstrel or historican), so it didn't feel like the reverse was impossible either - but I see your point and now you have me wondering about the relationship between the different Maiar and Valier and their attributes... either way, thank you for the review! :)

Sorry contact funzt ned, so einmal hier..Irgendwie ist es erstaunlich, wie viele deutsche Autoren sich perfekt in Englisch verwirklichen können, allein hier in diesem Forum.

 

Wenn ich nicht wüsste,  dass ich niemals meinem eigenen Standard gerecht werden könnte, gäbe es da schon die eine oder andere Geschichte, die ich in diesem Umfeld  posten würde.

 

Im Deutschen gibt es da so recht keine Plattform für, seitdem Cuthalion und  *die Herrin des Westens * ihre Seiten auf Eis gelegt haben.

 

Das Höchste, was ich diesbezüglich mal geschafft habe, und das auch nicht hundertprozentig befriedigend, war, Marnie Goodbodys tollen Geschichten zu übersetzen. 

 

Nun, ja, so bin ich halt stolz auf meine Landsleute, die das nun wirklich besser können, und genieße die Früchte deren Arbeit! 

 

Woher kommst du denn, wenn ich fragen darf, dass es bei dir Grabhügel gibt?

PS. ..Ich bin eigentlich Pöttlerin, lebe aber inzwischen im Münsterland, aber am liebsten lebte ich irgendwo in den Lowlands, oder dem Lake District, ich liebe die englische Landschaft und Lebensart...
