Well, apparently there was actually one version in which Arakano died on the ice! But Elenwe does rather seem like the classic fridged wife and mother--and then there are all those sisters and wives apparently disappearing...

Glad you liked the idea about the Noldor among the Amazons! I haven't had any ideas about their further adventures yet, but maybe something will come.
