Thank you :) I do think they fit well together, agreed. I'm interested that you're not a fan of Elrond/Gil-galad, though. I think written by the right person, they are a wonderful pairing. If you ever fancy a challenge, I dare you to find something written by Maybe (if you haven't already) and see if that changes your mind ;-)

I am afraid it is mainly my very tepid interest in Elrond, which when the films came out was reduced to nothing by Hugo Weaving. (Who looks nothing like I imagined Elrond). I did read one story where Elrond was depicted as looking nothing like Hugo Weaving, and I liked that, but there's just no initial interest in the character for me, really. :
