Fanwork Notes

I received five prompts for this Matryoshka challenge. They were, in short: a day in the life; walk through a door; encounter a frenemy; fail to face a fear; have something that everyone wants. It was a stroke of luck that these all worked out so well narratively. In the story, they’re divided by page breaks. I'm not sure if it's really a 'hero's journey' in the end, but it’s been a great chance to try and flesh out my interpretation of Oropher and the other personalities within Doriath.

Summary: The year is 502 of the First Age.
