I'm glad you enjoyed the story!  I thought it was important to put a few lighter moents into the fic, lest it become overburdened with angst.  A little angst goes a long way!  I definitely see the Brothers Feanorian as being close, but also occasioanlly squablling wih each other and irritating each other (like any family members do occasionally) - but when one of them is in trouble (as Maedhros is here), they do all pull together to help.
