What a delightful surprise to find this reposted here! I love it every bit as much as when I first read it! Your writing really is a treasure!

Thank you!! I looked for the fic on here when I posted that recent small piece about Fingon in order to link to it, because it was here that I had originally come up with the idea about tidying up after Ivrin. When I couldn't find it, I realized I must never have got around to cross-posting it and fixed that.

... and now I've realised I need to cross-post my art here too! (It's funny, but I initially didn't think the first sketch painting I did was "good enough" (whatever that is! /*rolls eyes at perfectionism*/) yet now find the second to be overworked and underexpressive and really prefer the original!)

I think I might have lost the access to the first sketch. I don't seem to have downloaded it and the AO3 embed doesn't seem to be working? As I recall, the two versions felt to me as if they did slightly different things and I tweaked the fic a bit to try to get both in.

Edit: That is, what I mean is: I would love it if you posted both versions here, as you did on AO3! And if you, please let me know, if you can, so that I can re-link!
