Melkor has been imprisoned in the halls of Mandos for all too long. The day of the trial is approaching, and now he's willing to do almost anything to convince his jailer of his change of heart. From then onwards, everything seems to go downhill for him, and upon returning to Angband, his relationship with Sauron will turn rather tense.
50 Prompts resulting in 50 AU Silmarillion based or related drabbles or ficlets.
Ambarussa is afraid of fire to this day. There were four instances in life that made him fear.
Fëanor tells Melkor to get off his lawn. An imagined passage from the Noldolantë of Maglor.

In the wake of Alqualondë and Finarfin's departure, Fëanor shores up power and Finrod must prove his loyalty.

After the Dagor Dagorath, all beings who once lived in Arda must reawaken for the Second Music, but someone is missing and Nerdanel is determined to find him.

Under the roof of misfortune, an elven lord and a servant unite in their love, against the customs of the Eldar. But their bond is entangled in the curse of the once-respected family, and the slightest move out of line could cost them both.
Not your typical romance, this is a story about two people who know one another all too well and understand one another not at all and share an almost love/hate relationship replete with passionate conflict and caring. It’s a Years of the Trees story of Fëanor and Fingolfin as very young men, written for Encairion, Ardor in August 2012, to satisfy this particular prompt:
“Pairing: Fëanor/Fingolfin. I prefer dark, angsty stories, but can appreciate humor on the side. Whether you give me a pre-darkening of Valinor or a re-born life in Valinor or something from the First Age, it doesn't matter, but I love seeing elves with flaws, so please no utopian, unrealistic worlds."

What was the place of the Valar in Fëanáro’s life after he had been exiled to Formenos? What of Eru, whom others of the Firstborn seemed to only remember when joining in the most sacred act of marriage?
