Artists Needed to Create 2025 Challenge Stamps
We are soliciting help from artists who want to help create the stamps we award to challenge participants.
It's the beginning of a new Age, and now that the world is (relatively) safe, Eluréd and Elurín want to see everything. Starting with the Misty Mountains.
Édebar was a tidal island. It had been a resting place of the Lady Uinen who had gifted it to a group of those who had pledged devotion to her to create a sanctuary for those who were mentally distressed or unhappy to find peace again. It was a far more discrete option than the long trip to Lorien, and Lorien was usually reserved for extreme cases.
Girls crying about their marriage prospects was not considered extreme.
Curufin joins Celegorm for a hunt in Oromë's woods and will be touched by a sudden realization regarding the situation of the Noldor in Aman.
It takes place not long after the creation of the Silmarils, Celebrimbor is still a child and the feud with Fingolfin hasn't reached its peak yet, but Melkor's twisted murmurs have started to burn in the hearts of the Noldor.
From their flight from Himlad to their flight from Nargothrond, Celegorm and Curufin have to face the abyss of their defeat, the bitterness of their broken pride, and the tempting shadows of greed. Through envy, frustration, pain and resentment, they have to choose which path to follow, not yet aware that their choices will affect all the people of Beleriand.

Do not let the title of this story mislead you. This is just as much a Silmarillion story as anything else, or I wouldn't post it here.
