Tolkien Meta Week Starts December 8!
Join us December 8-14, here and on Tumblr, as we share our thoughts, musings, rants, and headcanons about all aspects of Tolkien's world.
In another dimension this is exactly what's happening: Fingon and Maedhros visit Nargathrond, and Finrod sees things he really doesn't want to.
Fingon rescues Maedhros from Thangorodrim, in all its awful detail.
Finrod, Reborn, goes to visit Amarie, but isn't expecting the reaction he receives.
Ninnachel fights, dies, returns to life.
In the wake of the Battle of Sudden Flame, Fingon finds himself isolated except for his son, and then has to make the hardest decision of his life so far.
Fingon falls head over heels in love for the second time in his life.
Bilbo struggles to understand some of the words in a poem he's found.
Fingon's lives and loves.
Artanis Nerwen of the Noldor is eager to learn all that Melian of Doriath has to teach.
Fingolfin adjusts to new realities and Fëanor tests boundaries until they break.
Fingon rescues Maedhros from Thangorodrim.
For the International Day of Fanworks: an orc and his grim job.
Fingon and Maedhros are young and in love -- with each other and with themselves. A gift for Oshun.
On the night of her betrothal party to Fingolfin, Anairë summons her dearest friend Eärwen to Tirion. Overwhelmed by the sense that she is losing control over her life and her longing for the love she once shared with Eärwen, Anairë wonders if she has made the right choice. A sequel to The Sailing Forth, written for Elleth. Anairë/Eärwen, Anairë/Fingolfin
I have previously alluded to the deep friendship between Dísa, the noble Dwarf-woman of the House of Narvi, and Mélamírë, the Second Age elven-smith of Ost-in-Edhil, e.g., Chapter 28 of The Elendilmir and Chapter 4 of The Writhen Pool. This is a collection of stories about these two OFCs of the Pandë!verse.
So. OFCs. Pandë!verse. That's fair warning. Probably of interest to a limited audience.
Lalwen's lover pleasures her during the Dagor Bragollach
Mandos fic madness for Halloween. In the halls of waiting, on the ward of the Ñ-specials, Tyelpe Curufinwion, Fëanorian brat extraordinaire, tells of his coming to Gondolin.
Written for alackofghosts on tumblr whose character design for Tyelpe I have shamelessly stolen. It was her art who made me wonder how this could happen.

In after days historians would forget much about the Dagor Bragollach, and many things were left out of the Quenta Silmarillion, written with the gift of hindsight. But the coming of Celegorm and Curufin to Nargothrond was at first held as the greatest fortune to come to the Noldor out of that battle, for by their aid alone did Orodreth survive the fall of Tol Sirion.
On the eve of his abdication, Maedhros has doubts. Oneshot, horror AU.
No one cuts me with impunity.
The Finrod/Curufin Cask of Amontillado AU that no one asked for.
Fingon and Maedhros travel to visit Finrod in Nargothrond with a weighty purpose. Finished! It might be one of the more self-indulgent stories I have written, but I hope entertaining. [And the usual thanks to Ignoble Bard for reading and concrit.]
A slashy AU horror story set in the Fourth Age. Maglor is living in a small settlement in the woods when a set of mysterious murders threatens to expose his secrets.
After rescuing the Hobbits from the Barrow-downs, Tom Bombadil takes a blue brooch from the pile of barrow-treasures to bring to Goldberry, reminiscing about its bearer. This is her story.
For International Day of Femslash 2014.
Erestor uncovers the mystery behind Glorfindel's golden collar, and recalls the day of the doom that sundered them.
