About Me

Now in my mid-60's, I have been a Tolkien fan/scholar for almost 50 years, since I first picked up the Ballentine set of paperbacks in 1968. I have read the standard LOTR trilogy 100+ times and much of the background information (Silmarillion, HOME, etc) 25+ times.  I admit that the Silmarillion is my favorite volume, although some parts of HOME are also in my top-10 list. 

I have been involved with fanfiction for several years now, writing stories and helping a few authors in the areas of editorial and beta assistance.  I am NOT an author, even though I do write original fiction as well as Tolkien-based fanfiction. I am a published author, but tend to consider myself a multi-media artist and prefer to incorporate my Tolkien-esque themed items in metal and enamel, not just in words.  Thanks for reading my tales. Reviews and comments are appreciated, although if you bite me, be warned -  I bite back.
