Thank you for this. It is beautiful!  I particularly liked Ceiebrimbor's prayer to Nienna, Lady of Sorrows. "Mist-grey, and pitying all who weep, wash me with your tears."

I can relate to the commas!  (still using the Oxford commas when I'm not careful, though capitalization is my bugbear).

I'm glad you left out the descriptions of torture.  Like ancient Greek drama--all the violence happens off stage. As it should.
