This is terrific! I love it. Very clever the perspective and the changes of title. Although I tend to be a much bigger fan of Feanor and Fingolfin--I do like my troubled action heroes/anti-heroes!--Finarfin actually nailed it! Great ficlet. I am not easily satisfied by short-shorts. The shorter a story is, the higher are my expectations of quality--otherwise, why bother? Save it on one's harddrive until one actually has something to say! This one says a lot in a very few words. Kudos and more!
