Such a wonderful story, such irresistible characters! Your Ecthelion has definitely made it to the Top Five in my list of My Favourite Elves Ever. And I don't think I've ever laughed so hard with a Silmfic as with the scene of the spitting Sindar.

Truly remarkable, a real classic!

I think this might have been the first Silmarillion fic I ever read and certainly was among first half dozen or so slash fics. No wonder I still write principally in those two areas. It is truly a fandom classic: smart, funny, tender and ridiculous in equal parts and lovingly tied into canon in the most outrageous manner imaginable. I love it and I always have.
