About Me
For me fanfiction is about weaving a story around characters I know and love/hate, sometimes just spending time with them because they're my people, sometimes trying new angles to view them from. My fics are mainly set in the late First to mid Third Age, though it's not a hard and fast rule.
As far as fic reading goes, I've been around fandom since 2004 and I don't scare easy, I'll try anything once though admittedly the thought of naked Istari makes me twitch. Add in a few naked hobbits and that might be my bridge too far.
Personal details: she, her, lives in South Africa, co-mod at My Slashy Valentine, fandom-old and still love it.

That is a vast tale of a battle to rival the Battle of the Somme in our own time, with all its moments of terror and heroism (plus dragons, balrogs, and the death of a king). This is just about Gildor, son of Lalwen, and Glorfindel of the House of the Golden Flower (which Gildor assures me sounds better in Quenya) and something of their experience during those six days of horror.
