About Me
I am currently sitting in a warmly lit, yellow living room, facing a bay window with white curtains and an easel with a practically finished painting on it. On a bookshelf in my near vicinity is a stack of books, fiction, non-fiction and poetry, a nice anthology of the good, old writers (and some newer ones, too).
At my feet, attempting to kill himself by chewing on a wire, rests my dog. Percival is his name, but he has many handles (including Poopsicle and Shits-a-lot). A sweet dog is he, and loyal to the person with the most food.
My kettle is whistling at me in the kitchen. I should probably get up and fix myself a cuppa.
--I'm betting none of you gives a toss about all this, but that is what I am doing Right Now. Aside from writing this bio. I don't know what the future brings. At some point, I would like to know more about Tolkien than I do, and I want to keep studying until a) I die, or b) I run out of material to study.
I am a lover of every thing Tolkien. I love Middle Earth. I love his translations. I love his literature for children. Not least of all (rather my greatest love of all) is Silmarillion, and the lore surrounding those beautiful stones crafted by Fëanor.
My past writings have not been of tip-top quality (and some time in the future I will wonder what idiot it was that wrote this bio), and I don't expect my future endeavors to get much better (perhaps, in time), but I do love to write. I even like it when people read my stories. I take that as a giant compliment. So feel free to poke around in these meagre stores of wordage. I swear, my bio is more full of words than my actual stories.
