AU. In earlier drafts, Tolkien had Morgoth send Maedhros back, but maimed. This is my take on that. Fingon is just as much in love as ever.

In the interests of being a good member of a community that has chosen to observe National Poetry Month and the risk of great personal embarrassment, I present my humble effort in two blessedly short verses. In honor of it being National Poetry month, I tried a new form of poetry.  Its a seven line poem, and each line begins with the same letter. What better form to write something about than seven sons of Feanor?
