About Me
Like many Tolkien fans, I discovered his work through Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings films and solidified my fan status after reading the books. I founded the Silmarillion Writers' Guild in 2005 and, over the past decade-plus, have worked to grow the community as a place for Tolkien fans to gather, share fanworks, and discuss his work.
Please don't hesitate to reach out using the contact form above or by emailing the moderator address.
I welcome fanworks (art, podfic, translations, etc.) based on my fanworks. This is me giving you permission to do it; you don't need to ask. Please link to the work you're using (here, please, not AO3) and credit me as Dawn Felagund.

The Fall of the House of Fëanor by Dawn Felagund
This series encompasses my stories about the House of Fëanor from their early days in Aman until their demise. All of the stories are set in the same \"verse,\" use the same original characters and conventions, and are intended to be read together. They are kept in the order in which they are best read, so starting at the top and working down will keep you pretty much in sequence. Story content and ratings vary, so please check each story before reading. Other authors who have played with the same ideas as used in my stories are welcome to add to the series. Please email or PM me if you\'d like me to add your story.

Vána by Dawn Felagund
Barely mentioned in the published Silmarillion, Vána originally played a role as an active, assertive woman among the Valar. Her notable associations imply her role in the legendarium should be fuller than her meager mentions in the published Silmarillion suggest.
